Did you get a sore throat this season? Bummer! Throat infections can be viral or bacterial and can cause a fever, difficulty swallowing, and inflammation on the tonsils. Be sure to eat healing foods such as blueberries, carrots, garlic, and onions. Add some lemon to your chamomile tea along with a splash of honey. Some herbs that have been shown to help a sore throat include rosemary, thyme, and nettle. If you have any sea salt, mix some in a glass of lukewarm water. Gargle with the sea salt water and feel the relief it provides! You can also mix some Echinacea with the sea salt water to help boost your immune system. Get well soon!
