They are also a concentrated source of protein which is important for helping our body maintain strong muscles and tissues. Studies have shown that the phytonutrients found in pumpkin seeds can promote good prostate health, making these seeds a good snack option for men. They have also been shown to have a positive effect on those who are suffering from arthritis. In addition to all of these health properties, pumpkin seeds are a good source of manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, and copper.
