Almonds are a great source of immunity-boosting antioxidants and monounsaturated fats for a healthy heart. They are also a great source of vitamin E, magnesium, tryptophan, and copper. Try adding almonds to your breakfast smoothies or include chopped almonds to your morning cereal. You can also spread almond butter on apple slices or whole grain crackers for a fabulous midday treat. If you love salads, add almonds to the top instead of croutons. I’ve also seen people add raw almonds to rice and fresh fish dishes. You can always just snack on raw almonds plain and take them with you wherever you go!
